Who We Are
We see clients by appointment for financial assistance with housing and essential services to ensure stability in the home. We provide a stop-gap food pantry, diapers, cleaning supplies, and personal care items as they are available. No appointment is necessary for food or other commodities, these are available anytime Tuesday through Friday 10 AM - 2 PM.
What We Do
Our history, Bristol Faith in Action was established in July 2001 through the efforts of thirteen area pastors and church leaders, Bristol Faith in Action is now the local outreach ministry of 85 member churches, united in our mission to serve those in need of food, shelter, utilities, and other commodity items. With the formation of BFIA, those needing assistance no longer need to take the time and money to travel from church to church to answer many questions to get much needed assistance. Through this outreach ministry, our member churches feel they are being more effective and certainly more respectful of those often faced with significant physical, social, emotional or spiritual needs.
Bristol Faith in Mission Statement: To partner with our local churches and agencies by assisting and advocating for those in financial crisis to meet their immediate needs and share the love of Christ and compassion of our community.
Vision Statement:
To see people break cycles of poverty and move toward financial stability while connecting with a church community to support their spiritual growth.
