Boys & Girls Club of Johnson City/Washington County

The Boys & Girls Club of Johnson City/Washington County has served youth in the community year round since 1944. Our mission is “to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us the most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.” We accomplish this by utilizing National BGCA programs along with regional and community supporters and programs. The Boys & Girls Club of Johnson City/ Washington County provides: a safe place to learn and grow, ongoing relationships with caring, adult professionals, life-enhancing programs and character development experiences, and finally hope and opportunity. These are our core beliefs, and main programming priorities for each year involve creating and improving educational opportunities and growth throughout the year for all members, but especially with TEENS. The Boys & Girls Club of Johnson City/Washington County provides its members with programs that are directed at helping them improve their overall well-being and choice making skills. Our services include after school and summer programming, Power Hour- tutoring help, Snacks, Educational field trips, recreational sports programs, educational activities and FUN.
