Who We Are
The Kingsport Kiwanis Club was chartered by Kiwanis International on January 29, 1924. Visitors are welcome to join us each Friday for food, fellowship, and for the opportunity to hear from speakers about important matters in our region.
What We Do
-Collecting coats, shoes, and socks for local impoverished children. -Supporting scholastic excellence at local elementary schools via a reading partnership and student awards. -Support for the Darrell's Dream Boundless Playground at Warriors Path State Park. -Participation in worldwide Kiwanis service projects in partnership with UNICEF to elimiate iodine deficency dissorders and maternal/neonatal tetanus. -Assisting the salvation army with its annual bell-ringing. -Support for the elderly residents of the Kiwanis Towers. -Encouraging local civic activism via forums for candidates persuing elections for the Kingsport Board of Mayor and Alderman as well as the Kingsport School Board. -And more.
