'Welcome Tent/Merch' volunteers will be responsible for welcoming attendees to the festival, answering questions attendees may have, and selling merchandise to customers (i.e., t-shirts, nalgenes, etc.). There will be two volunteers at each welcome tent. Each 'Welcome Tent/Merch' volunteer will be instructed on how to use the POS (point-of-sale) system. If any questions arise during the festival that you need assistance with, each tent will have a walkie-talkie for you to contact the volunteer coordinator.

Prior to the start of the festival, will support staff in guiding food trucks/vendors to the festival area and offering additional vendor load-in assistance as needed. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

'Parking Assist' volunteers will be responsible for assisting festival attendees by directing traffic in the festival parking area.

'Beer Pour/Assist' volunteers will be responsible for pouring alcohol for customers and assisting 'Beer Sales Tent' volunteers with other needs. There will be 2 beer sales tents and one non-alcoholic beer sales tent throughout the festival, with each tent housing two 'Beer Sales Tent' volunteers and two 'Beer Pour/Assist' volunteers. If any questions arise during the festival that you need assistance with, each tent will have a walkie-talkie for you to contact the volunteer coordinator.

NOTE: This is a medium mobility position. You DO NOT NEED an ABC/TIPS card to volunteer for this position, but you must be at least 18 years old.

NOTE: The only individuals permitted to complete alcohol-related transactions are those with valid ABC/TIPS cards. THIS IS STRICTLY ENFORCED.

'Beer Sales Tent' volunteers will be responsible for selling alcohol to customers. There will be 2 beer sales tents throughout the festival, with each tent housing two 'Beer Sales Tent' volunteers and two "beer pour" volunteers. Each 'Beer Sales Tent' volunteer will be instructed on how to use the POS (point-of-sale) system. If any questions arise during the festival that you need assistance with, each tent will have a walkie-talkie for you to contact the volunteer coordinator. The first and last shift each day will assist with set-up / tear-down of the beer sales tent (we will provide instructions day of).

NOTE: This is a low mobility position.

NOTE: You MUST have a valid ABC/TIPS card to volunteer for this position. The only individuals permitted to complete alcohol-related transactions are those with valid ABC/TIPS cards. THIS IS STRICTLY ENFORCED.

Assist with the overall set-up and/or tear-down of the festival. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

'Floater' volunteers will be responsible for assisting throughout various areas of the festival - assisting with special tasks and supporting other volunteers during breaks or busy periods. This position will have a flexible location, as needed.

'Paddling Area' volunteers will be responsible for assisting paddling area staff, answering questions about show times, etc. Volunteers in this position should be prepared to get wet! Water shoes are strongly recommended.

'Bike Buddy' volunteers will be responsible for supporting the SORBA Tri-Cities bike course. Primary responsibilities include directing kids on and off of the course, helping fit kids in appropriate-sized helmets, getting kids fitted for the right sized bike, and keeping an eye on the kids while they are on the course.
