Who We Are

In hospice believe our lives are not measured by what we get, but by what we give. If you have a natural gift for empathy and want to make a difference, we can help you be a force for good in the lives of those facing a life limiting illness.

What We Do

Every person has a gift. Our volunteer coordinators will help you find that special something that makes your care truly special, and then match your talents with opportunities in your area. Some of the things our volunteers are doing that make a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families include holding a hand, sharing a story, running errands, light house keeping, making phone calls and providing administrative office support.

To become a volunteer, all you need is a compassionate heart. Our volunteer training will teach you everything you need to know to be a companion for someone during their end-of-life journey. You’ll learn valuable skills in grief counseling, spiritual and emotional support, and end-of-life care.
