Rise Up

Rise Up is a non-profit organization located in Central Johnson City. Rise Up’s foundation is centered holistically by embracing our youth, teaching the importance of education, servant leadership, community involvement, successful relationships, healthy living and the love of Jesus Christ. Our priority is to break the cycle of poverty through academic enrichment and faith-based work.

Rise Up is an afterschool program that serves at-risk, under-resourced youth. Daily curriculum led activities in STEM, math, literacy, servant leadership, character development, fine arts, health and wellness all designed through a holistic lens. Rise Up addresses food insecurity with our students by providing a nutritious dinner and healthy snack prepared in house. Our priority is to break the cycle of poverty through academic enrichment and faith-based work.
